This article is the result of bibliographical research and field observation during the demonstrations in favor of Dilma Rousseff 's disability. The purpose of this article is to understand the formation of a right-wing social movement in Brazil, analyzing the processes and structural changes that have driven the work of what has come to be called the "new right." We understand that what characterizes this new right today is the innovation in its political action, starting to assimilate new tactics to its patriotic repertoire, like street protests. We will specifically study the Free Brazil Movement (MBL), a group that stood out during the pro-impeachment protests, investigating its performance between 2013 to 2016, rescuing the scenario in which it emerged and was strengthened.
