Resumo: This review aims to present the book Juntando Cacos, Resgatando Vidas [...], by Valdeci Antônio Ferreira. The book is both an explanation of the APAC (Association for the Protection and Assistance of the Condemned) method and the presentation of the humanizing proposal for the fulfillment of the criminal penalty carried out by the method. An entire part of the book is dedicated to the so-called lectures of human valorization, which seek to offer an opportunity for examination of conscience to prisoners.

Una parte entera del libro está dedicada a las llamadas conferencias de apreciación humana, que buscan ofrecer a los presos la oportunidad de examinar su conciencia.Esta resenha tem por objetivo apresentar o livro Juntando Cacos, Resgatando Vidas [...], de Valdeci Antônio Ferreira.
