Resumo: This article discusses the Ritual of the Full Moon Potiguara, indigenous people with the largest ethnographic population in Northeast Brazil. This paper aims to analyze the narratives of the experiences of those who attend the ritual and describe the presence of ten elements in the ceremonial performance. For this, the elementary symbols to ritualists are described and distributed in theoretical literature that supports them in selectors: celestial, telluric, and others. The bibliographic review was adopted in 33 works dated between 1947 and 2020, such as Barcellos (2014) and Vieira (2018). Methodologically, it is a search type qualitative, descriptive, and ethnographic. The ethnographic data collected information from September 2018 to February 2019. The analysis shows that the Full Moon Ritual reaffirmed the concept of Potiguara indigenous ancestry.
