Resumo: The present paper addresses the distinction and the synthesis between “meaningful intention” and “intuitive fulfillment” in the Logical Investigations ([1901] 1913). Initially, the article addresses the merging of the sensitive, meaningful and intuitive aspects in the constitution of a sign as a “full expression” (vollen Ausdruck). In the second part, the article shows that, in perception, the intuitive fulfillment of what is intentioned by the meaningful act occurs in a series that gradually increases the knowledge of the object. Finally, it shows that the series point to a perfection of an adequacy between meaningful intention and the fully intuited thing, revealing a close relationship between “intuition” and “evidence” in Husserl’s phenomenology.
