Resumo: This dissertation is to study the everyday lives of social workers with the population of “travestis” and transsexual people. The overall objective is to analyze and understand the everyday life practice of social workers in meeting the demands of the population of “travestis”, transsexual women and trans men. In this sense, we analyzed the relationship developed between professionals and the user population in the everyday life work of social workers, as well as the underlying professional knowledge necessary for the qualified care provided to “travestis” and transsexual people. From the theoretical point of view, we start from the Hellerian construction of everyday life as a foundation, and from studies on sex, gender and countersexuality as a basis for the discussion of identity and body. The methodological procedures were a qualitative approach based on discourse analysis, with field research conducted with a questionnaire, applied in a virtual way (online) to eighteen social workers. The main results of the research point to a latent theoretical production in social work regarding the “travesti” and transsexual population, but there is a gap in the appropriation of this production by the mass of professionals who work to meet the population's demands. It was also possible to identify the need for insertion of the debate on “Travestilidade” and transsexuality in the professional training process aligned with the hegemonic professional project in order to provide a break with values and ethical principles that limit the possibility of “travestis” and transsexuals. Values and principles that are still reproduced socially and consequently within the profession as a product of the daily relationships to which social workers are inserted in their work practice

Values and principles that are still reproduced socially and consequently within the profession as a product of the daily relationships to which social workers are inserted in their work practiceA presente dissertação tem como objeto o estudo do cotidiano das assistentes sociais com a população de travestis e pessoas transexuais. O objetivo central é analisar e compreender o cotidiano da prática profissional das assistentes Sociais no atendimento das demandas da população de travestis, mulheres transexuais e homens trans. Nesse sentido, analisamos a relação desenvolvida entre profissionais e população usuária no cotidiano da atuação das assistentes sociais, bem como os conhecimentos profissionais subjacentes necessários ao atendimento qualificado prestado para travestis e pessoas transexuais. Do ponto de vista teórico, parte-se da na construção helleriana de cotidiano como fundamento, e dos estudos sobre sexo, gênero e contrassexualidade como base para a discussão de identidade e corpo. Os procedimentos metodológicos foram uma abordagem qualitativa fundamentada na análise de discurso, com pesquisa de campo realizada com questionário, aplicado de maneira virtual (online) para dezoito assistentes sociais. Os principais resultados da pesquisa apontam para uma produção teórica latente no Serviço Social a respeito da População travesti e transexual e uma lacuna na apropriação dessa produção pela massa de profissionais que atuam em seu atendimento. Foi possível, ainda, identificar que há necessidade de inserção do debate sobre Travestilidade e Transexualidade no processo de formação profissional do Assistente Social, no intuito de propiciar o rompimento com valores e princípios éticos que limitam a possibilidade de existência de travestis e transexuais. Valores e princípios que ao serem reproduzidos socialmente como hegemônicos, reverberam no interior da profissão como produto das relações cotidianas ao qual as assistentes sociais estão inseridas na sua prática laboralCoordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPESapplication/pdfhttp://tede2.pucsp.br/tede/retrieve/53259/Otto%20Stenke%20Sinigaglia.pdf.jpgporPontifícia Universidade Católica de São PauloPrograma de Estudos Pós-Graduados em Serviço SocialPUC-SPBrasilFaculdade de Ciências SociaisTravestisTransexuaisServiço social com pessoas socialmente excluídasCotidianoCross-dressersTranssexualsSocial work with people with social disabilitiesEveryday LifeCNPQ::CIENCIAS SOCIAIS APLICADAS::SERVICO SOCIALO cotidiano da Assistente Social com as demandas da população de travestis, mulheres transexuais e homens transinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessreponame:Biblioteca Digital de Teses e Dissertações da PUC_SPinstname:Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP)instacron:PUC_SPTEXTOtto Stenke Sinigaglia.pdf.txtOtto Stenke Sinigaglia.pdf.txtExtracted texttext/plain289623https://repositorio.pucsp.br/xmlui/bitstream/handle/23497/4/Otto%20Stenke%20Sinigaglia.pdf.txt02a4cd8078604c56ffab05604cb04930MD54LICENSElicense.txtlicense.txttext/plain;
