Resumo: This work has the scope to analysis of Sustainable Tourism linked to the principles of environmental law that guide mainly the Principle of Sustainable Development. Presents the faces of Sustainable Tourism, namely: environmental, economic and social. We tried to identify these pillars and demonstrate the need for interconnection between each of them to reach the desired goal. Still, we analyze the aspects of tourism, its history, its modalities and arrival at a sustainable concept, as well as protected areas, highlighting in which ones the tourist interference is possible. Finally, it opens the curtains to the research conducted in the city of Bonito, Mato Grosso do Sul, which has revealed how it is able to implement the Sustainable Tourism in practice and what problems to be faced. Left demonstrated in this work the possibility of tourism business growth in harmony with the environment is successive level efforts of public, private and each of us, as a way of maintaining not only of nature itself, but from all the permeates such as the dignity of the human person

Apresentam-se as faces do Turismo Sustentável, a saber: a ambiental, a econômica e a social. Procurou-se identificar esses pilares e demonstrar a necessidade de interconexão entre cada um deles para que se atinja o objetivo almejado. Ainda, analisa-se as vertentes do Turismo, sua história, suas modalidades e a chegada a um conceito sustentável, bem como as Unidades de Conservação, destacando em quais delas é possível a interferência turística. Por fim, abre-se as cortinas para a pesquisa realizada na cidade de Bonito, no Mato Grosso do Sul, que nos revelou de que forma é capaz de implementarmos o Turismo Sustentável na prática e quais os problemas a serem enfrentados.
