Unheimlich e David Lynch: o inconsciente como tema na técnica da produção cinematográfica

Resumo: This work reflects on the relationship between the "Unheimliche" article written by Freud in 1919 and the films of the American director David Lynch. The development of this study made possible a analysis of Lynch’s work through a brief panorama guided by passages which the unheimlich effect - described by Freud as a frightening impression that binds to things long known and familiar from all time - is identified and also his related subjects issues. We understand with Freud that emotions are abruptly triggered by an object and reveal questions of the psychic life. In this way, artistic production uses the manipulation of emotions to provoke the spectator, and they react by projecting their own unconscious psychic processes into the work
