Resumo: | The objective of this research was to identify and analyze the previous trajectory of students with intellectual disabilities enrolled in Youth and Adult Education (EJA) of Rede Municipal de São Paulo, in the year 2017, in view of the growth, in recent years, of the student's enrollment in this type of education. The data of these trajectories were obtained through the Microdados of the Census of Basic Education made available by the Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Educacionais Anísio Teixeira (MEC/INEP), from 2007 to 2016, since this database, although existing since 1995, does not allow data to be collected on school trajectories prior to 2007. For this reason, the age range of 15 to 22 years was limited, as older students could have completed their previous trajectories in years prior to 2007. Although the PMSP offers five distinct types of EJA, were selected students who were enrolled in the courses offered by Municipal Schools of Elementary Education (EMEFs) because they are the ones with the most qualified structure. This procedure resulted in the selection of 160 (one hundred and sixty) students, whose trajectories were analyzed by the following indicators: age, sex, race/color, EJA’s teaching stage, type of trajectory, school progression, number of retentions, years of enrollment registered, previous series to the EJA achieved and type of schooling. The main findings were: the concentration of students under 19 years old, the low incidence of female students, and the corresponding number of blacks and whites. With regard to the previous trajectories, it was verified that the majority had studied a good part of the fundamental education, with a constant trajectory and regular progression, which shows that, although they had formally studied a great part of elementary school, they had not assimilated the content school |

With regard to the previous trajectories, it was verified that the majority had studied a good part of the fundamental education, with a constant trajectory and regular progression, which shows that, although they had formally studied a great part of elementary school, they had not assimilated the content schoolO objetivo desta pesquisa é identificar e analisar a trajetória escolar pregressa de estudantes com deficiência intelectual matriculados na Educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA) da Rede Municipal de São Paulo, no ano de 2017, tendo em vista o crescimento, nos últimos anos, das matrículas desse alunado nessa modalidade de ensino. Os dados dessas trajetórias foram obtidos por meio dos Microdados do Censo da Educação Básica disponibilizados pelo Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisas Educacionais Anísio Teixeira (MEC/INEP), no período de 2007 a 2016, já que esse banco de dados, embora existente desde 1995, não permite que se colha dados sobre trajetórias escolares anteriores a 2007. Por essa razão, limitou-se a faixa etária de 15 a 22 anos, na medida em que alunos mais velhos poderiam ter cumprido as suas trajetórias pregressas em anos anteriores a 2007. Embora a Prefeitura Municipal de São Paulo - PMSP ofereça cinco tipos distintos de Educação de Jovens e Adultos - EJA, foram selecionados os alunos que estavam matriculados nos cursos oferecidos pelas Escolas Municipais de Ensino Fundamental – EMEFs, por serem aqueles que apresentam estrutura mais qualificada. Esse procedimento redundou na seleção de 160 (cento e sessenta) alunos, cujas trajetórias foram analisadas pelos seguintes indicadores: idade, sexo, raça/cor, etapa de ensino na EJA, tipo de trajetória, progressão escolar, quantidade de retenções, anos de matrículas registrados; série anterior à EJA alcançada e tipo de escolarização. Os principais resultados foram: concentração de alunos com idade inferior a 19 anos, baixa incidência de alunas, número equivalente de matrículas entre negros e brancos. No que se refere às trajetórias pregressas, verificou-se que a maioria havia cursado boa parte do ensino fundamental, com trajetória constante e progressão regular, o que evidencia que, apesar de formalmente terem cursado grande parte do ensino fundamental, não haviam assimilado o conteúdo escolar correspondenteCoordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPESapplication/pdfhttp://tede2.pucsp.br/tede/retrieve/49506/Olga%20Maria%20Freitas%20de%20Oliveira%20Falleiros%20Lebr%c3%a3o.pdf.jpgporPontifícia Universidade Católica de São PauloPrograma de Estudos Pós-Graduados em Educação: História, Política, SociedadePUC-SPBrasilFaculdade de EducaçãoEducação especialEstudantes de Educação de Jovens e AdultosDeficiência intelectualIncapacidade intelectualSpecial educationStudents of Youth and Adult EducationIntellectual disabilityStupidityCNPQ::CIENCIAS HUMANAS::EDUCACAO::TOPICOS ESPECIFICOS DE EDUCACAOA trajetória escolar pregressa de alunos com deficiência intelectual matriculados na Educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA)The pregresse school trajectory of intellectual disabled students enrolled in Education of Youth and Adults (EJA)info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessreponame:Biblioteca Digital de Teses e Dissertações da PUC_SPinstname:Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP)instacron:PUC_SPTEXTOlga Maria Freitas de Oliveira Falleiros Lebrão.pdf.txtOlga Maria Freitas de Oliveira Falleiros Lebrão.pdf.txtExtracted texttext/plain132204https://repositorio.pucsp.br/xmlui/bitstream/handle/22320/4/Olga%20Maria%20Freitas%20de%20Oliveira%20Falleiros%20Lebr%c3%a3o.pdf.txtbf0f3640e345b3a24124e069d791c22fMD54LICENSElicense.txtlicense.txttext/plain;
