Resumo: | One of the most striking features in every work of fiction of any format, is to create stories that make the user, reader or viewer feel a sense of immersion in the universe being presented. Recently, transmedia storytelling has become more common. This is happening because in this way the industries can attract new potential consumers. With this point in mind, this article discusses and questions how transmedia narratives can generate empathy for a villain. For this reason, funny and charismatic antagonists are increasingly present in productions such as games, animations, and books, and this occurs because lately the characters have been portrayed more and more humanized. Therefore, the narrative can contribute to the humanization and awareness of the audience by awakening essential characteristics of empathy, refinement of emotions, and the ability to enter the character's reality, which can be identified within the context of individual experiences. In this study, we analyze how transmedia narratives enable the production of different perspectives of the same story for different media and how they influence public perspectives, causing the public to have greater empathy for the antagonist. Above all, our analysis will result in an interactive narrative and a comic book showing the same story from different points of view |

In this study, we analyze how transmedia narratives enable the production of different perspectives of the same story for different media and how they influence public perspectives, causing the public to have greater empathy for the antagonist.
