This project has as subject of the employment agreement, in order to demonstrate that the restriction to the principle of the autonomy of the will is more pronounced in the employment agreement, than others contracts. The importance of the subject can be verified by the fact that the work is essential to the dignity of the human person, thus requiring the intervention and protection of the State in order to promote balanced labor relations, allowing the achievement of a free and just society. For both, will be made a few comments about the autonomy of the will, analyzing some limitations provided by the law. It will be done, also, a brief study on the regulation and origin of the Labor Law, analyzing its main sources, with emphasis on the guiding principles and the employment agreement, showing the main features and elements of this, to demonstrate the limits that the Brazilian law imposes on autonomy of the will in the individual employment contracts
