The current dissertation seeks to analyze the phenomenon of female modesty in the Catholic Charismatic Renewal through the Discourse of the Collective Subject. It seeks to verify how dress influences the lives of women of this new church movement in a grouping of parishes in the Pimentas neighborhood, far outskirts of the city of Guarulhos. This research has an original character, since this movement has not been studied in the Guarulhos Diocese in the state of the art, neither in the parishes of the object. Through interdisciplinary theoretical framework, documentary research and netnography, we seek to understand the presence of costume in the lives of 5 women, each of a respective parish within their reality and daily life inside and outside the religious institution. To verify through hypotheses the answer to the problem of why women choose to use modesty in their lives, giving them voice and working various concepts within the theoretical framework as the bio-logic, the other, habitus, place of speech, social place, aesthetic formations and the Theology of the Body, where these categories of analysis will be added to semi-directed interviews and participant observation, seeking the confluence of a common denominator to corroborate the hypotheses and seek to answer the proposed problematization
