Resumo: Bienal de São Paulo as a renowned event on the international art circuit concentrates in itself a series of forces and influences that have shaped it since its creation. The following work aims to understand how its premise of internationalization of art contributes to a game of interests that encompasses different actors from within and outside the artistic circuit. It analyzes history together with contemporaneity, with a focus on the most recent finalized edition, Affective Affinities (2018) passing through the role of the Bienal de São Paulo Foundation and the other associations that make this event possible, each with its own agenda within the context in which a Bienal is held
