Resumo: Psychopathy involves psychological signs and symptoms that typically arise in early childhood and affect all aspects of a psychopath's life, including relationships with family, friends, work, and school. The symptoms of psychopathy include lack of affection, empathy, guilt and remorse, irresponsibility and the perception of the other as an object at their disposal. Psychopaths will not necessarily be criminals, just as there are many criminals without any trace of psychopathy. The general objective of the study was to verify the possibility of the criminal psychopath. A review of national and international literature was carried out in search of clarification on psychopathy, social and personal impacts, risks, criminality and resocialization of these individuals. Resocialization is an effort so that people who have committed crimes and had their prison sentence decreed can fulfill the sentence equivalent to their acts and, after that, can return to their life in society, demand of various activities, such as offering education and work for the convicts, so that they can leave the penitentiary system with better conditions to earn a living for themselves and their family than they had before entering the prison. When considering the issue of inmates with psychopathy, the issue of resocialization is more difficult, due to the fact that psychopathic criminals are incapable of realizing how harmful their actions are to others or of feeling any empathy for people who have been victimized by them. they. As psychopathy has no cure, resocialization programs may not be as effective as would be expected and as effective with other inmates. This does not mean that these programs could never generate the expected effects, however, the success rates are relatively low

This does not mean that these programs could never generate the expected effects, however, the success rates are relatively lowA psicopatia envolve sinais e sintomas psicológicos que normalmente surgem no início da infância e afetam todos os aspectos da vida de um psicopata, incluindo relacionamentos com a família, amigos, trabalho e escola.
