Resumo: | Family and money are fundamental themes for human survival. The first relates to the place where we were born, parents being the first with whom we learn to deal with themselves and with others, and money relates to the need to obtain minimum material conditions of survive. Understanding how money passes through the family's life cycle is being investigated from the doctoral research. The goal of this work was to understand how the process of financial / economic education is established in the dynamics of family relations in the middle class, in the phase of acquisition of the family life cycle, in order to construct a theoretical model that explains these relations at the present time. A qualitative research was developed through (Grounded TheoryMethodology), in which it was adopted as tools for data collection, the semi-structured interview and the focus group. The type of sample was by accessibility and the rolling snowball technique was used. The participants in the interviews were 19 families and in the focus group 6 groups were performed, a total of 38 people. All the participants lived in different configurations in the acquisition phase, adolescent phase, mature phase and last phase of the family life cycle. As the interviews and the focus group presented the same results, the saturation criterion was used. Data analysis was based on the procedure of the theory based on the data that is configured by a constant comparison, systematic questioning, theoretical sampling and coding. In this last one, the micro-analysis was initiated that generates diverse concepts and involves the open codification, later the axial codification in which the categories form by the concepts grouped by being related in the same idea. Finally, the selective coding that guides and organizes all the axes already described, forming only a single phenomenon among the categories. That shows the relationship with money opening different and different paths in the family, these being steadily tracked while others present as difficult and harmful health. It explains how money shapes family relationships throughout its life cycle and demonstrates effective and harmful deals with money and the range of values attributed to it.It also explains how families are influenced in economic behavior and how the culture of consumption influences management with money. It explains how money shapes family relationships throughout its life cycle and demonstrates effective and harmful deals with money and the range of values attributed to it.It also explains how families are influenced in economic behavior and how the culture of consumption influences management with money. The whole theory was developed from a perspective of paradigmatic new thinking and discussed in the light of economic psychology, the family life cycle and compared to the current national and international literFamília e dinheiro são temáticas fundamentais para a sobrevivência humana. A primeira diz respeito ao lugar onde nascemos, sendo os pais os primeiros com quem aprendemos a lidar conosco e com os outros e, o dinheiro, neste contexto, se relaciona à necessidade para obter condições materiais mínimas para sobreviver. Dessa forma, essa pesquisa de doutorado buscou entender como o dinheiro perpassa o ciclo vital da família. O objetivo deste trabalho foi compreender como se estabelece o processo de educação financeira/econômica na dinâmica das relações familiares, de classe média, em diferentes fases do ciclo vital da família, a fim de construir um modelo teórico que explique essas relações na atualidade. Foi desenvolvida uma pesquisa qualitativa, por meio da teoria fundamentada nos dados (Grounded Theory Methodology), para o qual foi adotada, como instrumentos para a coleta de dados, a entrevista semi-estruturada e o grupo focal. O tipo de amostra foi por acessibilidade e utilizou-se a técnica bola de neve. Os participantes nas entrevistas foram dezenove famílias e no grupo focal foram realizados seis grupos, sendo um total de trinta e oito pessoas. Todos os participantes vivenciavam em diferentes configurações fase de aquisição, fase adolescente, fase madura e fase última do ciclo vital da família. À medida que as entrevistas e o grupo focal apresentaram os mesmos resultados, foi utilizado o critério de saturação. Para a análise de dados baseou-se no procedimento da teoria fundamentada nos dados, que é configurado por uma comparação constante, por questionamento sistemático, por amostragem teórica e pela codificação. Esta última, iniciou-se pela microanálise que gera conceitos diversos e envolve a codificação aberta, e posteriormente,pela codificação axial, na qual as categorias formam-se pelos conceitos agrupados, por relacionarem-se numa mesma ideia, e por fim, pela codificação seletiva que norteia e organiza todos os eixos já descritos, formando somente um único fenômeno entre as categorias. A teoria que emergiu dos dados foi denominda “As relações com o dinheiro: construindo, destruindo, re e co construindo caminhos possíveis com o dinheiro na família”. Mostra o relacionamento com o dinheiro abrindo caminhos distintos e diferentes na família, sendo estes, trilhados de forma estável, enquanto que outros se apresentam difíceis e negativosà saúde. Explica ainda,a maneira que o dinheiro molda as relações familiares ao longo do seu ciclo vital e evidencia manejos eficazes e nefastos com o dinheiro e a gama de valores atribuídos a ele. Também explica como as famílias são influenciadas no comportamento econômico e como a cultura do consumo influi no manejo do dinheiro. Toda a teoria foi desenvolvida na perspectiva do pensamento novo paradigmático e discutida sob a luz da psicologia econômica, do ciclo vital da família e comparada à literatura nacional e internacional vigentesCoordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPESapplication/pdfhttp://tede2.pucsp.br/tede/retrieve/49047/Andreza%20Maria%20Neves%20Manfredini.pdf.jpgporPontifícia Universidade Católica de São PauloPrograma de Estudos Pós-Graduados em Psicologia: Psicologia ClínicaPUC-SPBrasilFaculdade de Ciências Humanas e da SaúdeDinheiro - Aspectos sociaisFamília - Aspectos psicológicosEducação financeiraMoney - Social aspectsFamily - Psychological aspectsFinancial literacyCNPQ::CIENCIAS HUMANAS::PSICOLOGIAAs relações com o dinheiro: construindo, destruindo, re e co construindo caminhos possíveis com o dinheiro na famíliainfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/doctoralThesisinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessreponame:Biblioteca Digital de Teses e Dissertações da PUC_SPinstname:Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP)instacron:PUC_SPTEXTAndreza Maria Neves Manfredini.pdf.txtAndreza Maria Neves Manfredini.pdf.txtExtracted texttext/plain914654https://repositorio.pucsp.br/xmlui/bitstream/handle/22161/4/Andreza%20Maria%20Neves%20Manfredini.pdf.txtb1c11e88870fdd3f04e4030390a0e5c1MD54LICENSElicense.txtlicense.txttext/plain;
