Evandro Teixeira, since the great period of documentary photography, has worked for years with photojournalism and continues to the present day, participating since then in collective and individual exhibitions as an artist. This monograph consists of the study of four interests for the construction of a curated notebook, which are: the aspects of the history of photography, the photographic language, the relations of the artist and his history. The photographer works on political, poetic, plural issues and attentive to man regarding human reactions: whether collective, social or behavioral. Thus, his work can be classified as timeless, where the importance is not limited only to the past, but remains present and future with his work - contributing to the social and political history of the country. In Evandro's art, it is important to note every look and detail. Whether consciously or not, we are struck by the poetic depth present in his works. Hence the importance of a notebook in a curatorial project. The research was supported by the investigation of the artist's personal collection of photographs, three visits to the photographer's house in Rio de Janeiro talking to him and a work of more than a year of research. Parallel to the research and interviews, comparisons were made with works by other leading photographers in the history of photography. Knowing closely the artist's work, the choice of the present theme, may later generate the conception of a book that records and eternalizes, in a narrative and illustrative manner, his authorial look, especially while witnessing movements that occurred in Brazil
