A “era digital” como locus da hodierna experiência da revelação de Deus: um diálogo entre teologia e cultura em Bruno forte

The digital-virtuality culture presents itself as a challenge to natural-institutional religion, theology, and ecclesiology itself. In this scenario, mystagogical beliefs and experiences of faith are questioned by the technological and thought revolution. Given this, the question is timely: is the anthropo-theological ecclesiastical praxis of listening to and speaking about the God revealed in the modern and complex locus of faith that is the internet possible? The scope of the research is rooted in the theological elucubrations of Bruno Forte and other theologians who deal with and present the mystery of Christian Revelation in constant dialogue with the existential mystery of the human being in the lifeworld. In this framework, the “Digital Age” is identified as an extensive locus of ecclesiastical life and the human-Christian experience of faith in connection. In this theological horizon, God's revealing himself in favor of humanity is translated into the categories of “advent and exodus”. To this end, the categories exodus and advent are used to demonstrate how the author develops thoughts about the existential mystery situation of the human being in relation to God and others in the world-life plan. In this framework, the “Digital Age” is identified as an extensive locus of ecclesiastical life and the human-Christian experience of faith in connection, identifying how people seek experience. In this theological horizon, the revelation of God in the media in favor of humanity is translated by the categories of communication, especially in the social environments of the internet “advent and exodus”. In conclusion, by establishing a dialogue between Theology and Communicative Culture, that theology and culture, faith and reason, devotion and mysticism must be conceived by ecclesiology as an instrument for articulating interpersonal and social relationships with the Divine mystery. To achieve this, it is necessary to train communicators who can dialogue with established sciences and with multiple and possible cultures. In this way, it is understood that the research represents a style of thinking and doing theological-pastoral science in development, elucidating current issues of religious-ecclesial faith in the world of virtuality, which we chose to call the theological locus.
