Resumo: The pericope of Luke 5:1-11, located in the context of Jesus' ministry in Galilee, presents a cluster of scenes (vv.1-3; vv. 4-7; vv. 8-11) that apparently have little interaction between them. However, after investigation, it is clear that there are elements that permeate them, bringing unity. This Lucan text introduces the topic of the call in the third Gospel. When observing this unity, the fan is opened to other themes that help to build the characters that are in it. Since few studies are carried out in Brazil, considering a pragmatic perspective and analyzing a text in its literary features in the New Testament, more prominence can be perceived (and outside the country) in the area of the Old Testament. The methodology used is deductive, starting from an established methodology – pragmalinguistic exegesis. From this it can be seen, in the biblical text, how the distinct elements found in it contribute to the whole of the Lucan Gospel. For this, these steps use indirect documentation, which is based on documentary and bibliographic research. The objectives of this study are: 1. to analyze the Greek text of the NA28, in order to understand the delimitation, textual criticism, segmentation, remote and close co-text, thus establishing the text; 2. to highlight the pragmatic communicative force of the fishing-call story, in the Lucan narrative as a whole; 3. to carry out a theological hermeneutics in the perspective of discipleship-apostolate based on the power of the word. After the analysis, it was concluded that Lk 5,1-11 is a distinct unit, which is in the context of Jesus' ministry in Galilee (Lk 4,14- 9,50). This co-text focuses on the identity of the Nazarene, discipleship, and friction with Jewish leaders. After the pragmatic analysis, it was observed that the 3 scenes are linked by the theme of the word, which presents the roles of ἐπιστάτης and κύριος of Jesus, as well as his messianic character. They show that Jesus catches people with his message as well as catches fish with his powerful word. Furthermore, he summons people to be fishers of men, as He is, by his word. On the other hand, Peter is presented as someone who reacts correctly to the word and adheres to the proposal of engagement made by Christ. Finally, after analyzing the themes that emerge from the text and that influence not only the studied pericope, but also the entire book, it is seen that the role of Christ, as Master, points to the importance of his teachings and the numinous aspect of his person. The emphasis on the strength of the word shows the equivalence of the word of Christ with the word of God, exercising the same power and having the same importance. The theme of missionary discipleship brings the Christological emphasis as well as the required characteristics of disciples. Such nuances can be perceived in Peter's life and must be reproduced in the readers/hearers of the Gospel

The emphasis on the strength of the word shows the equivalence of the word of Christ with the word of God, exercising the same power and having the same importance. The theme of missionary discipleship brings the Christological emphasis as well as the required characteristics of disciples. Such nuances can be perceived in Peter's life and must be reproduced in the readers/hearers of the GospelA perícope de Lc 5,1-11, localizada no cotexto do ministério de Jesus na Galileia, apresenta um aglomerado de cenas (vv.1-3; vv. 4-7; vv. 8-11) que aparentemente têm pouca interação entre si.
