Resumo: This cross-sectional study aims to investigate, reflect on, and investigate the characteristics, impasses and possibilities of online analysis, based on its popularization due to social isolation caused by the COVID-19 pandemia. Semi-open interviews were carried out with 3 psychoanalysts who had at least 5 years of experience in the face-to-face clinic who experienced the abrupt changes required in 2020. It starts with Freudian metapsychology, revisited in the introduction, based on the fundamentals of the technique as a beacon for discussion. This clinical device has two important characteristics: the loss of corporeality and the sharing of care in the clinical space, thus, the possibility of handling the work of analysis starts from the recognition of these characteristics and the care so that they fit the objective of the work of analysis

Foram feitas entrevistas semi-abertas com 4 psicanalistas que tiveram, pelo menos, 5 anos de experiência na clínica presencial e que vivenciaram as modificações abruptas exigidas em 2020. Parte-se da metapsicologia freudiana, revisitada na introdução, a partir dos fundamentos da técnica como baliza para a discussão.
