The present article has as objective, discuss and analyze with musical references, the conflict situation established in Vietnam, since the military intervention of the United States. Facing a gradual perspective of this action taken by the northAmericans, growing up since 1965, the whole conflict starts being intensified, and the protest songs that emerge from the public opinion of the USA go through following up and opposing the war, as they are also making people aware about being against the conflict – which only sees the north-Americans ideological defense, but sacrifices thousands of Vietnamese lives. Therefore and, thank to the songs that influence and are influenced by this context, it’s possible to visualize a much bigger critic content in the songs in the beginning of the nineteen-seventies – the moment that people starts pressuring the US government to remove troops from Vietnam, making the war have its end very soon
