Resumo: This study presents Pope Francis' view on understanding the importance of mission for the life of the Church and society. With this commitment, we want to lead the Church to the fullness of her service vocation and all of humanity and all of creation to the fullness of life. Thus, Francis, supported by Sacred Scripture, the Second Vatican Council and the Latin American conferences, invites us to be an outgoing Church that seeks in the gospel the joy and strength necessary to evangelize. Evangelization is a transforming element, capable of leading creation to experience the Kingdom of God. She is a great sign of the times. For this reason, Francis insists on leading them to a Church that leaves its walls and its selfishness and opens itself to the mission of
