The aim of this paper is to analyze Viktor Orban's "Eurosceptic" foreign policy in Hungary. Orban's regime has become the quintessential example of the populist radical right in power. Since 2010, Orban has been increasing the illiberal characteristics of his regime (which he himself calls "Illiberal Democracy") by means of majority instruments, following his victory in the Hungarian parliament, in which his party won a majority of the seats up for grabs. As a result, the first actions taken by the new Hungarian government were aimed at undermining minority rights, the opposition's room for maneuver and attacking the independence of institutions such as the judiciary and the media, as well as freedom of the press. One of the main characteristics of his regime is also the attack on the liberal order in international relations. In this sense, through a bibliographical and documentary analysis, the research studied Orban's criticisms and measures against the European Union and Brussels, seen by the Hungarian government as hostile to the country's sovereignty and conservative traditions
