Resumo: Pathological manifestations in the construction industry are imperfections that impair the expected performance of a building. It is common for pathological manifestations to occur, which can arise at any stage of construction or use of the building. This research aims to understand and identify pathological manifestations in ceramic coatings used in indoor and outdoor environments, as well as their causes, preventive and corrective measures, and through a case study, to highlight some of these pathologies, presenting technical solutions to the problems encountered. In addition to the literature, case studies, theses, dissertations, articles, books, and reports will be used for the development and support of the research. From this study, it was possible to identify pathological manifestations in ceramic coatings used in indoor and outdoor areas, as well as to present preventive and corrective measures for these pathologies
