Resumo: This monograph aims to give an overview of the curator's profession and its particularities. Through interviews with professional curators now working in the art field, this work intends to map the characteristics of each curator and their specific areas. The idea is to sketch an eclectic and practical portrait of curatorial activity in Brazil that could work as a reference to be reflected by new curators. This discussion will be developed based on historical and theoretical sources about the curator's profession and also establishing parallels with real references brought by the curators during the interviews.
