The Final Paper titled "Legal Design: An Integrated Approach to Democratize Access to Justice in Law 5.0" explores the use of Legal Design to make the electronic legal system more accessible and transparent. The complexity of this system creates a gap between the population and the law, challenging equality before the law and the effective exercise of the right to access to justice. In this way, the need to seek solutions to this problem is evident, considering the imminent danger of the practical ineffectiveness of legal protection in relation to fundamental rights of unrestricted protection and universal values, as well as the need to make the law more accessible in a democratic society. Through extensive literature research, case studies, questionnaires, and interviews, information and insights were acquired, contributing to the final development of JAD-E, a software that aligns the needs of legal operators and individuals without legal knowledge, with the aim of promoting active and informed participation of all individuals in their legal processes, as well as transforming the relationship between humans and technology in law to be more effective and user-centric. Furthermore, this software also carries the important task of enabling the full protection of the fundamental right to access to justice by making legal information comprehensible for all individuals, regardless of their legal experience
