Resumo: | The present research proposes the elaboration of an affective cartography of the Center of São Paulo through the creation of a path that allows to identify places / symbols of the center from the identification of visual fractures between times and spaces. It investigates how symbolic power fosters visibility or invisibility in this urban space under the constant historical, social and cultural transformations that have changed its landscape. It also seeks to analyze how these transformations mediatively and interactively communicate this visuality, through the different relations of uses and affects of these places / symbols. The empirical object of the research is the relationship between Visibility, Invisibility and the visual fractures between times and spaces present in the places / symbols that are part of the route. The objective of the research is to know how the image of these places, ambivalent and sometimes contradictory, are confused with the landscape of the city of São Paulo, through the form of their urban appropriation and to verify how, and if, they foster the creation of points of relationship and affection. The research also seeks to provoke reflections on how memory and forgetfulness act in the cultural construction of belonging to symbolic spaces, and how technological means can contribute to making invisible spaces visible in the city center or building other forms of visibility. The Drift was used as a methodological strategy, for, when creating random paths of affection, to find the fractures present in the places / symbols and to observe its inhabitants / users and how they interact and use the urban space. A digital drift was also carried out, through the search of seven Instagram profiles that share photographs about the city of São Paulo. Finally, flowing from the drift methodology made it possible to observe the map traces that reveal the growth and symbolic transfer of spaces. The drifts enabled the creation of this affective cartography, which, in the manner of Atlas Mnemosyne by Aby Warburg, aims to plan and demonstrate the images of these places / symbols, as well as the relationships established between times and spaces, thus observing how the territory opens up from these real or imaginary images that can promote “affect and be affected” by these places / symbol. The research will flow between the theories proposed by researchers investigating phenomenology, image affection, the city and communication, such as Lucrécia Ferrara, Hans Belting, Aby Warburg, Guy Debord, Gilbert Simondon, Merleau-Ponty, Spinoza |

The research will flow between the theories proposed by researchers investigating phenomenology, image affection, the city and communication, such as Lucrécia Ferrara, Hans Belting, Aby Warburg, Guy Debord, Gilbert Simondon, Merleau-Ponty, SpinozaA presente pesquisa propõe a elaboração de uma cartografia afetiva do Centro de São Paulo através da criação de um percurso que permita identificar lugares/símbolos do centro a partir da identificação de fraturas visuais entre tempos e espaços. Investiga-se como o poder simbólico fomenta a visibilidade ou a invisibilidade nesse espaço urbano sob as constantes transformações históricas, sociais e culturais que modificaram sua paisagem. Também busca-se analisar como essas transformações comunicam de forma mediativa e interativa essa visualidade, através das diferentes relações de usos e afetos destes lugares/símbolos. O objeto empírico da pesquisa é a relação entre a Visibilidade, a Invisibilidade e as fraturas visuais entre tempos e espaços presentes nos lugares/símbolos que fazem parte do percurso. O objetivo da pesquisa é saber como a imagem desses lugares, ambivalentes e por vezes contraditórias, se confundem com a paisagem da cidade de São Paulo, através da forma de sua apropriação urbana e verificar como, e se, fomentam a criação de pontos de relação e afeto. A pesquisa também busca provocar reflexões sobre o modo como a memória e o esquecimento atuam na construção cultural de pertença de espaços simbólicos, e como os meios tecnológicos podem contribuir para tornar visíveis os espaços de invisibilidades no centro da cidade ou construir outras formas de visibilidade. A Deriva foi utilizada como estratégia metodológica, para, ao criar percursos de afeto aleatórios, encontrar as fraturas presentes nos lugares/símbolos e para observar seus habitantes/usuários e como estes interagem e utilizam o espaço urbano. Também foi realizada uma deriva digital, através da pesquisa de sete perfis do Instagram que compartilham fotografias sobre a cidade de São Paulo. Por fim, fluir da metodologia da deriva possibilitou a observação dos traçados dos mapas que revelam o crescimento e a transferência simbólica dos espaços. As derivas possibilitaram a criação dessa cartografia afetiva, que ao modo do Atlas Mnemosyne de Aby Warburg, tem como propósito planificar e demonstrar as imagens desses lugares/símbolos, bem como as relações estabelecidas entre tempos e espaços, observando assim, como o território se abre a partir dessas imagens reais ou imaginarias que possam promover o “afetar e o ser afetado” por esses lugares/símbolo. A pesquisa fluirá entre as teorias propostas por pesquisadores que investigam a fenomenologia, o afeto a imagem, a cidade e a comunicação, como Lucrécia Ferrara, Hans Belting, Aby Warburg, Guy Debord, Gilbert Simondon, Merleau-Ponty, SpinozaCoordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPESapplication/pdfhttp://tede2.pucsp.br/tede/retrieve/51945/Camila%20Geracelly%20Xavier%20Rodrigues%20dos%20Santos.pdf.jpgporPontifícia Universidade Católica de São PauloPrograma de Estudos Pós-Graduados em Comunicação e SemióticaPUC-SPBrasilFaculdade de Filosofia, Comunicação, Letras e ArtesCartografia - São Paulo (cidade)VisualidadeVisibilidadeCartography - São Paulo (Brazil)VisualityVisibilityCNPQ::CIENCIAS SOCIAIS APLICADAS::COMUNICACAOCartografia do afeto: as imagens/símbolos no Centro de São Pauloinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/doctoralThesisinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessreponame:Biblioteca Digital de Teses e Dissertações da PUC_SPinstname:Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP)instacron:PUC_SPTEXTCamila Geracelly Xavier Rodrigues dos Santos.pdf.txtCamila Geracelly Xavier Rodrigues dos Santos.pdf.txtExtracted texttext/plain234421https://repositorio.pucsp.br/xmlui/bitstream/handle/23083/4/Camila%20Geracelly%20Xavier%20Rodrigues%20dos%20Santos.pdf.txtae045468ec997e458a3a178f52799013MD54LICENSElicense.txtlicense.txttext/plain;
