On the network we live connected, interconnected, independent and interrelated. The network society is characterized by globalization, flexibility and interactivity. In this context, post-modernity is accompanied by several characteristics which we mention among others, speed information, immediacy, transience and lack of depth. In turn, the individual in order to represent himself within a social context organized in network, express on the internet his references, interests and personal characteristics. The objective of this research is to analyze the identities in the network considering the forms of appropriation of spaces of expression by the subjects on the Web. The study considers a literature of several authors who have addressed the issue as Castells, Hall, Turkle, Bauman, Sibilia, Giddens, Santaella, Recuero among others. Social networks, subjectivities and the new I , perception, image, context, loving relationships in the network, fake profiles and examples of the impact of Web identities were analyzed in this study. For preparation of this paper we used the tracking methodology derived from the method of digital ethnography methodology and exploratory research on books and documents published on the Internet as well as the participation of the researcher as users in different social networks.
