Resumo: This research presents an approach of the urgency of the labor enviroment sustainable balanced, employee’s health, and the legal instruments which enable the practice of the prevention and precaution principles. It presentes concepts of the ecological enviroment , the labor enviroment which are the basis of the applicable legislation to such theme, the international opinions about the subject and statistics analyzes about labor accidents and occupational diseases, which are consequences of a unhealthy labor enviroment. It discusses the need of the State , workers and services users acknknoledgement in order to ensure the sustainability of the labor enviroment for the next generations. Therefore, the resarch comes out with a result of the mentioned principles strengthening through protection legal instruments for the preservation of the labor enviroment, as well as brings comments of the changes and the omission of the “Labor Law Amendments (Law 13.467/2017) regarding to the health and safety of the labor enviroment

Apresenta conceitos do meio ambiente, do meio ambiente do trabalho, princípios norteadores, legislação aplicável ao tema, posicionamentos internacionais, estatísticas sobre acidentes de trabalhos e doenças ocupacionais, que são consequências da lesão ao meio ambiente de trabalho. Discute-se a necessidade da conscientização do Estado, trabalhadores e tomadores de serviços para se garantir a sustentabilidade do meio ambiente do trabalho para as futuras gerações.
