Resumo: His course completion work presents the life of sanctity of Santa Maria Bertilla for the school environment, through pedagogical activities and the study of the virtues of this Saint in the performance of the apostolate. In terms of her life's purposes, Sister Bertilla was clear that she needed Divine support to fulfill the Lord's call. The Holy Spirit infused the fire of charity into all her actions, because she saw Jesus in her brother. The virtues gave the impetus, the quality in the exercise of her functions as a nurse and as a nun. The humblest jobs that aroused eagerness were assigned to Bertilla. She cared for with lots of love and dedication. In prayer she cultivated an intimate and profound union with God, so she made room for God to work wonders in her life, such as simplicity, prayer, penance, humility, mortification and the life of charity. She had a constant and determined desire to become a saint and to guide many souls to God

Nos propósitos de vida Irmã Bertilla tinha clareza de que precisava do amparo Divino para concretizar o chamado do Senhor. O espirito Santo infundia o fogo da caridade em toda a sua ação, por que ela via Jesus no irmão. As virtudes deram o ímpeto, a qualidade no exercício das suas funções como enfermeira e como religiosa. Os trabalhos mais humildes e que suscitava ânsia era designado para Bertilla. Ela cuidava com muito amor e dedicação. Na oração cultivava uma união íntima e profunda com Deus, sendo assim, deu espaço para que Deus fizesse maravilhas na sua vida, como a simplicidade, a oração, a penitência, a humildade, a mortificação e a vida de caridade.
