The following paper presents the study of na alternative fundraising form known as crowdfunding, which encompasses several modalities and its repercussions, demonstrating also that a puverized form of investment allows the borrower, besides the main object of fundraising, to know its public and measuring acceptance in society, making possible from projects with financial collection focus for political campaign to equity ownership in a startup. Although the vast field of research allows for deepening in different branches of crowdfunding, this study considered the focus in the modality of equity crowdfundig, specifically with the objective of acquiring preferred shares in a LLC. In this context, it is imperative to observe the regulations drawn from CVM Instruction No. 588, of July 13, 2017, which sets the limits and requirements for small businesses, as a form of promotion and feasibility of use
