Resumo: | The comments carried through in East-Timor, the new country of the Community of the Countries of Portuguese Language - CPLP, during recent educative mission, had guided the construction of this doctoral research, whose object of study is the radio, the orality and the feminine condition in that country. During the freedom fights, the women had a basic participation in the territory s reconquest of the invaders hands, acting next to the men in the guerrilla. This marking feminine presence was the starting point to idealize this work. It has as main objective to argue about the woman s private role in the society East Timorese afterrevolutionary and its mediating social performance through the voice and of the word in the medias and the tribune politics. Throught the recovery of their memories and narratives, discusses language, identity, culture and memory and placing in guideline beddings, critical, concepts and reflections on the orality in its aspects of tradition and transmission. It was equally intended to verify the historical side of the relations between men and women by means of its representations in verbal literature and the plastic arts, posters and photographs, that compose the corpus of the analysis, which adds the feminine stories. In the passage of this research, ahead of the complexity discovery of a civilization such as the East Timorese, detainer of another culture, with its myths, of historical inclusion: scene of conflicts, memories and cultural resistance, we did guide ourselves for some types of theoretical beddings interdisciplinary: studies on communication and media phenomena; semiotics studies on myths, verbal tradition, memory, culture and arts; anthropological, historical and feminists studies. Thus, the concepts that guide the work are voice and word and mediatized orality , of Paul Zumthor; aesthetic radiophonic and acoustic world of the reality , Rudolf Arnheim; radio, culture and orality of Eduardo Meditsh, Gisela Ortriwano, José Eugenio Menezes, Monica Rebecca Nunes; mediation of Jesús Martín-Barbero; lusophoony of Jose Fiorin Luiz; language, history and East Timorese memory of Luis Costa, Luis Cardoso and Luis Felipe Thomaz; language and colonial domination of Frantz Fanon; Arjun Appadurai; poetical of the Relation and creolism of Edouard Glissant. In the painting field, typology of the culture , Iuri Lótman; culture of seeing of Uspênski; interpretative iconology of Erwin Panofsky. In the mythological universe, studies of Vladimir Propp; Julien Greimas and the virtual matrices of myths , culture as memory of Jerusa Pires Ferreira. History of the women and feminine condition of Michelle Perrot, Françoise Héritier and Muriel Nazzari. The results point with respect to a social evolution of the East Timorese women and the continuity of its historical fights of the guerrilla from the full use of the word. The radio contributes to mark the feminine´s presence where the voice is amplified. This study is configured as a research - or study - of including field, of historical character, ethnological and ethnographic, constructed from some necessary methodological procedures to a qualitative boarding of the problem, such as: Inventory of the memory; Interviews; Documentary research; Bibliographical inquiry and Document Analysis, which adds reports, statements and questionnaires |

The radio contributes to mark the feminine´s presence where the voice is amplified. This study is configured as a research - or study - of including field, of historical character, ethnological and ethnographic, constructed from some necessary methodological procedures to a qualitative boarding of the problem, such as: Inventory of the memory; Interviews; Documentary research; Bibliographical inquiry and Document Analysis, which adds reports, statements and questionnairesAs observações realizadas em Timor-Leste, o mais novo país da Comunidade dos Países de Língua Portuguesa - CPLP, durante missão educativa recente, nortearam a construção desta pesquisa de doutorado, cujo objeto de estudo é o rádio, a oralidade e a condição feminina naquele país.
