This Course Conclusion Paper is intended for research carried out in the Postgraduate course in Management of Social Projects in Third Sector Organizations at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo PUC / SP, with the theme of a study on the black population in the right to the city, in order to deepen knowledge about the racial issue within the right to the city. In this way, we can observe that blacks in Brazil still experience legacies from the long period of colonization, recognizing that the problem exists is the first step towards the materialization of rights. In the methodology we use exploratory, descriptive and explanatory research through primary and secondary data, collected in the second half of 2020. The method adopted was the questionnaire using a form in google forms with the target audience. The results corresponded to the theoretical framework in which they provide an understanding of the main social representations suffered by the black population, being subjugated, violated and criminalized since slavery to affirm social, political and economic interests, whose effects make invisible, ignore and perpetuate the oppression that consequently they are still experienced today as new forms of expressions of the social issue.
