This work aims to present the New Communities as a result of new times in the post-Vatican Council II Church. Emphasizing the importance of New Communities as a place of protagonism for lay men and women, explained through an ecclesiology peculiar to each foundation, the result of a charisma at the service of the Church. Through a brief historical itinerary, we will seek to present, in a synthetic way, how it is possible to perceive the action of the Spirit throughout the history of the Church, through the various religious movements and expressions that contributed to the mission of the Church in society. From an institutional aspect, we will see the ecclesiastical recognition of the New Communities, expressed by the Catholic tradition, through the pontificates of John Paul II, Benedict XVI and Francis, also through the documents of the magisterium and, through the pastoral testimony of the faith communities themselves, through their evangelization work. Another point of reflection will be the problem that permeates the core of these ecclesiastical movements and their consequences for the Church. Finally, as an example of pastoral practice, the religious praxis of a New Community, its founding charisma, its mission, internal structure and pastoral work will be summarized
