Considering the technologic development, and consequently, the internet development, bring to the juridical relations and business settlement performed by electronic procedures, substantial impact, especially related to the information exchange security and confidential information. This Academic Study aims to cover a brief theoretical study about the digital evidence-finding procedures, whereas the information technological evolution made the evidence finding procedures more than those listed at the brazilian procedural civil laws and civil regulations. For that, a theoretical study about internet was done, one of the most communication circles used at the present days by society; transmitting to the reader multiple discussions which the electronic documents have created, as well as its acceptation as probational object at the procedural civil law. Finally, the procedures to turn the documents more safety, by the digital execution certificate was broached. It is concluded that electronic documents shall be accepted by the brazilian law as evidence finding procedures, is due to the opening afforded by Article 332 from the code of civil procedure, and also, by the composing of the provisional measure nº 2.200-2, from august, 24th;2001, owing to its security and veracity, its probative value will be only granted by a digital signature certified by competent entities. New searches about the issue was a suggestion left, because of its importance within the practice of law worldwide
