Resumo: This monograph aims to outline the theme of migration in the teaching of geography, bringing a theoretical and methodological approach to labour mobility and migration from a dialectical materialist perspective. Moreover, in a yearning for change and understanding, a Milieu Analysis is a teaching method that can be effective if well planned. Therefore, this work presents a successful experience, based in teaching with projects and Milieu Analysis. The above experiment was a project for the topic Migration, held at Escola Estadual Padre Anchieta, in the neighbourhood of Brás, in São Paulo, and lasted two months. We emphasize that a group of students of the second year of high school after classes, workshops, textbooks, field work, which covered the Milieu Analysis perspective, made along with two Geography teachers a documentary - "Brasil: as faces de um país miscigenado "- which shows how geography teaching can be reframed

Ademais, em um anseio por mudanças e entendendo que o estudo do meio é um método de ensino que pode ser eficaz se bem planejado, este trabalho apresenta uma experiência bem sucedida, pautada no ensino com projetos. A experiência acima mencionada foi um projeto referente ao tema Migrações, realizado na Escola Estadual Padre Anchieta, no bairro do Brás, em São Paulo, e durou dois meses.
