A catequese do século XXI, desafios frente as novas tecnologias

In an attempt to build up a stimulus to research how catechesis developed at the turn of the 20th century to the 21st century, this labour begins with an account of how catechesis was from the 16th century until the mid-20th century, when there was the Second Vatican Ecumenical Council, from it led to a paradigm shift, the requirement for renewal of the catechetical process is watched, it is necessary to set new documents up that must be adequate for catechesis in the current context in which it lives. Two apostolic exhortations: Evangelii Nuntiandi and Catechesi Tradendae are introduced, which bring orientations for catechesis from the Vatican Council II on. The birth of a new catechesis enhance in the 21st General Assembly of the CNBB, in Itaici, where the episcopal document titled of Renewed Catechesis - Orientations and Content was approved, and became extremelly significant for catechesis. Referenced as revelation of Divine action, where the church understands this Action as dialogue between God and humanity and affirms the human as a communicative being and increases this communication to the context of media. From this comprehension challenges and perspectives highly important will be noticed in the contemporary culture and inculturation, as the relationship beetwen today’s media language and the new profile due to the new media, and tools that are extremelly innovative and essencial in this catechetical improvement of evangelization
