Since its inception, psychoanalysis came with the objective of the treatment fou those adults in suffering. The reserches of Freud displayed, however, that there is something in the adult subject which refers to their constitution, childhood, and the child in them. This work holds as its guiding principle the passage of a psychoanalytic treatment of adults to children and children to babies; a path found to reach an important question: what is it a baby? In a double sense: what could we know about the psychic constitution of a baby as well as how could a treatment be directed to it? One can be born at least twice. The path between birth and the becoming of a subject can be filled with mishaps and symptoms that are organized in the body of the little infans, whether in a maternity, a temporary shelter or with the baby already installed in a home. This study is based on the education, theory and practice of Freud and Lacan, as well as other authors who have enabled the clinical practice with babies. The psychoanalysis subject is in relation to his unconscious, and their primary entries are the ones that can elevate a small living organism to a subject status. The concern is to articulate the knowledge which can support an infant clinic and how an analyst can operate in such an early time in the life of a human being. How is it possible for analysts to put themselves before a parent-infant relationship so that a function operation can be done? How does the listening of an analyst can operates leading to an emplacement change of parents before their child? Through their place 'supposed to know' of speaking, listening and interpretation, under transference, and knowledge of history and opening the baby and this family, who answers in the most varied ways to conflicts and unspoken acts which are present in the relationships of those around it. More precisely, with babies, work is making a bet that the small body will come a subject.
