This monograph discussed high skills and giftedness in relation to psychopedagogical care through the analysis of articles, master dissertations and theses dealing with the subject. It is a bibliographical research, signaled by the attempt to make a theoretical balance on the production of the theme from 1996 to 2016. The study sought to show high skills / giftedness in its specificity in the interface with psychopedagogy and itsattributions. Students with high abilities / giftedness are linked to the myth that they do not present learning difficulties, however, they may present learning difficulties and social relationships, not reaching their cognitive potential.In chapter I the concept of high abilities / giftednesswas brought in, a summary about psychopedagogy and high abilities / giftednesslinked to psychopedagogicalcare. In chapter II, the works found in the bibliographic review were divided into four themes: High Abilities / Giftedness and learning difficulty; High Abilities / Giftedness and psychopedagogical care; High Abilities / Giftedness in Education; High Abilities / Gifting, bulliyng and social ability.Considering these aspects, this monograph pointed out the importance of the psychopedagogical professional in the care of children with giftedness / high skills, both in the academic, emotional and affective aspects
