The present article intends to investigate the expressed subjectivities of performance artists in the city of São Paulo with the objective of, in this way, contributing to the psychological care of this specific target group. For this, two reflective interviews were carried out with a musical theater actor and a person trained in a technical musical theater course, an area chosen because it encompasses theater, music, circus and dance, the best known Performing Arts. The interview was based on extensive bibliographic research that revealed a series of perceived sufferings, in addition to a political and social difficulty in growing in this area in Brazil, often not seen as work. The reports obtained were divided into ‘units of meaning’, due to their similarity and later placed in large groups called ‘constellations’. Finally, an analysis was made from the Heideggerian Existential Hermeneutic Phenomenology perspective for the interpretation of suffering and the defense of the importance of its approach in the psychological clinic for the resignification of this experience
