Resumo: The present work aims to reflect on the true sign of holiness of the couple to accept and bear the limits of each other every day, with patience and understanding, being a sign of holiness in the world today. It also seeks to draw a line of reflection that can provide a preparation for those who intend to unite in marriage, providing a better understanding of marriage by seeking to form a family in search of holiness. We seek to develop the biblical-patristic foundation of the sacramentality of marriage in order to understand the biblical and priestly thought of the Church in relation to marriage and the process of its sacramentalization. And we remember the Holy Spirit that can always be invoked by the spouses, so that the grace received in the marriage manifests without ceasing in each new situation
