Resumo: High-risk prenatal care is a fundamental tool in reducing fetal and maternal death. This way, it becomes necessary for the pregnant woman to be seen with a holistic view, which values either physical and psychosocial aspects, in order to assist her in her entirety. Objective: Identify the perception of pregnant women regarding the care provided by the nursing team in high-risk prenatal care and provide the result obtained for the Dr Edward Maluf Municipal Polyclinic in the city of Sorocaba. Method: It's about a descritive study with a qualitative approach, which included 15 pregnant women who attend high-risk prenatal care at the Polyclinic of the Municipality of Sorocaba. The informations were obtained during March until April 2022 through an audio-recorded interview with the guiding question: “Tell me about your feelings about the care provided by the nursing team during prenatal consultations held at the Polyclinic? ”, and questions that informed sociodemographic and obstetric variables of pregnant women. For the organization and analysis of the data, DSCsoft, which is the new Collective Subject Discourse software, which does not replace the role of the researcher, but aims to facilitate qualitative and quantitative research in which the technique is used according to the Subject Discourse methodology Collective. Results: 15 pregnant women with a young profile participated in the study, the most frequent reasons for referral to high-risk prenatal care being are gestational diabetes and hypertension, as for the reproductive and obstetric profile, 5 of them are first pregancies and the other 10 women are already pregnant. experiencing multiparity. Altogether, 5 central ideas constituting the Collective Subject Discourse were raised, namely: like the care offered by the nursing team? feels well attended, feels safe, feels clarified and medical predominance. Which they refuted with the initial hypothesis, because according to the pregnant women the multidisciplinary team included their feelings, anxieties and difficulties, understanding their psychological process that contributed to the improvement of care. Conclusion: The present study has achieved the purpose of identifying the perception of pregnant women regarding the care provided by the nursing team in high-risk prenatal care, in which it was possible to detect satisfaction and positive feelings regarding the assistant provided. In addition, it presented visibility for high-risk prenatal activities to be also developed by the nursing team, because their actions are organized in a systematic way and based on scientific knowledge, It highlighted that there is a necessity to break the paradigms that limit the function and emphasizethe centered medical care
