Resumo: | Freud thought about a system that acted independently of consciousness and was able to organize content. This system became known as unconscious. In his first topographic model on the psychic apparatus, dated from 1900 to 1920, with the aim of helping to think about the psyche, he thought that it was divided in places. These places in the first topographic model were divided into unconscious, preconscious and conscious. This was Freud's first attempt to systematize the psychic apparatus. Freud, when directing his studies to the Ego, realizes that this Ego, that until then seemed to be totally located in the conscious and in the preconscious, was not quite like that, but that a considerable part of that Ego had unconscious dimensions. From that point on, he realizes that his first conceptualization of the psychic apparatus was not able to explain certain psychic phenomena found in his clinic, elaborating then what would be known as the freudian second topographic model, dated from 1920 to 1939. In this second topographic model, without leaving aside the notions of unconscious, pre-conscious and conscious of the first topic, Freud will conceptualize and propose a new way of understanding this psychic apparatus. Three new divisions in the psychic apparatus were proposed as: Id, Ego and Superego. This change will happen in the sense of expanding the understanding, regarding the dynamics between the psychic instances. Thinking about this new conception of the psychic apparatus, this theoretical research will deal with the characteristics and changes that occurred in the concept of the unconscious in freudian theory in the transition from what was known as his first topographic model to his second. Approaching what led the author to formalize a second topographic model, what were the problems and challenges of his first formulation of the psychic apparatus that led to the elaboration of a second one, and what are the consequences of this change for the Freudian psychoanalytic theory |

Approaching what led the author to formalize a second topographic model, what were the problems and challenges of his first formulation of the psychic apparatus that led to the elaboration of a second one, and what are the consequences of this change for the Freudian psychoanalytic theoryFreud pensou em um sistema que agia de forma independente da consciência e que era capaz de organizar conteúdos.
