Resumo: The direct speeches, belonging to the characters participating in a narrative, are something very flashy. By reading or listening to them, the listener-reader of the text will increase or decrease your sympathy for the character in question. In the Pentateuch, as in the whole Bible, the Lord, the God of Israel, is presented as a character who participates in the narrated plot. Therefore, direct discourses belong to him. One of the most striking is found in Ex 34,6c-7d. In this micronarrative, which we divide into seven verses, the God of the exodus self-presents, insisting on its fundamental characteristics and postures. An exegetical study of this direct discourse takes place here, investigating its literary configuration and its theological reflection
