Resumo: The approach to themes such as music, citizenship and temporality is characterized by its complexity, resulting from the continuous recomposition of the articulations of these components in the perspective of their historical-cultural development, considering the local and global dimension. History, in particular, is understood as an uninterrupted succession of facts that mark the evolution of humanity, which must be understood in its plurality and in its dialectical sense. This study emerges in this context with the objective of understanding the process of resignification of old age and the exercise of citizenship in the kairosian conception, taking into account the mediating role of music in the life of the elderly, and the resonance of its comprehensiveness in biological aspects, psychological and politico-social.

La historia, particularmente, es entendida como una sucesión ininterrumpida de hechos que marcan la evolución de la humanidad, la cual debe ser comprendida en su pluralidad y en su sentido dialéctico. Este estudio emerge en ese contexto con el objetivo de comprender el proceso de resignación de las vejez y del ejercicio de la ciudadanía en la concepción kairosiana, considerando teniendo en cuenta el papel mediador de la música en la vida de los ancianos, y las resonancias de su alcance en los aspectos biológicos , psicológicos y político-sociales.A abordagem de temas como música, cidadania e temporalidade caracteriza-se por sua complexidade, resultante da recomposição contínua das articulações desses componentes na perspectiva do seu desenvolvimento histórico-cultural, considerando-se a dimensão local e global. A história particularmente é entendida como uma sucessão ininterrupta de fatos que marcam a evolução da humanidade, a qual deve ser compreendida na sua pluralidade e no seu sentido dialético.
