Resumo:  This article presents the results of a cross-sectional, quantitative study using the snowball sampling technique to analyze a sample in Brazil as part of an international research carried out in partnership with Red Interdisciplinar de Psicogerontología in seven more Latin American countries, from May to June of 2020. It presents the profile of a group of elderly people, of high social status, and their answers on how they keep themselves to physical distancing. Although the group does not represent the majority of the Brazilian elderly population, it is believed that it is important to know the various snippets from the countless old ages existing in their various social insertions

Presenta el perfil de un grupo de personas mayores, de estratos sociales altos, y sus respuestas sobre cómo se mantienen a distancia durante la pandemia. Si bien el grupo no representa a la mayoría de las personas mayores brasileñas, se cree que es importante conocer los recortes de las distintas vejezes exitentes en sus diversas inserciones sociales. Este artigo apresenta resultados de estudo transversal, quantitativo, realizado com amostra pela técnica de snowball sampling, no Brasil, parte de pesquisa internacional feita em parceria com a Red Interdisciplinária de Psicogerontología em mais sete países latino-americanos, no período de maio a junho de 2020.  Traz o perfil deste grupo de pessoas idosas, de estrato social elevado e suas respostas sobre como se mantêm em distanciamento.
