Resumo: The body is one of the objects that assumes symbolic values in contemporary society, being considered an essential object to reflect the identity of individuals. Thus, in this essay we propose to discuss the place of the body of the elderly in postmodern society, whose ideas are the body and perfect health.

Por lo tanto, en este trabajo nos proponemos discutir cuál es el lugar del cuerpo de ancianos en la sociedad posmoderna, cuyo cuerpo y las ideas perfecto estado de salud.O corpo é um dos objetos que assume valores simbólicos na sociedade contemporânea, sendo considerado um objeto essencial para refletir a identidade dos indivíduos, especialmente os mais velhos.
