Resumo: This experience report proposes to reflect on the housing and operation of a Long Stay Institution for the Elderly in the city of Rio Azul-PR, from a triangular perspective, that is, the elderly residents, professionals and the community . It is noted that the statements presented demonstrate that the institution must be in constant movement in (re)thinking everyday practices to face the challenges and build spaces so that one can grow old with dignity, recognizing how urgent this debate is by and in the municipalities in view of the different regional realities in Brazil.

Se observa que las declaraciones presentadas demuestran que la institución debe estar en constante movimiento en (re) pensar las prácticas cotidianas para enfrentar los desafíos y construir espacios para que uno envejezca con dignidad, reconociendo la urgencia de este debate por y en los municipios. en vista de las diferentes realidades regionales en Brasil.Este relato de experiência tem como proposta tecer reflexões sobre a moradia e a operacionalidade de uma Instituição de Longa Permanência para Idosos do município de Rio Azul-PR, a partir de uma perspectiva triangular, ou seja, dos idosos residentes, dos profissionais e da comunidade.
