The cinema in the debate about aging

Resumo: Population aging is a worldwide phenomenon. As a strategy to discuss aging, the Project: Cinema Cycle "Aging", which since 2009, seeks through films to approach issues of old age in the population of Santa Maria, RS. In this article we highlight the film "A Master Trainee: Experience is never too much" that in its exhibition during the Project made possible a wide debate about the aging process, based on gerontology theorists.

Como una estrategia de discutir el envejecimiento, se originó el Proyecto: Ciclo de Cine "Envejecimiento", que desde 2009, busca a través de películas aproximar las cuestiones de la vejez de la población de Santa Maria, RS. En este artículo se destacó la película "Un Señor Pasante: Experiencia nunca es demasiado" que en su exhibición durante el Proyecto posibilitó un amplio debate sobre el proceso de envejecimiento, fundado en teóricos del área de la gerontología. O envelhecimento populacional é um fenômeno mundial. Como uma estratégia de discutir o envelhecimento, originou-se o Projeto: Ciclo de Cinema “Envelhecimento”, que desde 2009, busca através de filmes aproximar as questões da velhice da população de Santa Maria, RS.
