Resumo: The following text constitutes a brief report about the emergence, methodological and theoretical horizons, developed and ongoing research, human resources and intellectual work of the Religion and Culture Research Group of the University of the State of Pará, Brazil, which is in connection to the Postgraduate Program in Religion Studies. Since 2009, the year of its appearance, the RG seeks to aggregate collective and individual scientific interests of its members in favor of research advancement and in connection socialization of knowledge from the interconnections established between religion and literature.
