Resumo: My intention here is to discuss the hypothesis that the technology of some media builds supports that ensure the survival of cinematographic images. My own interest in this theme lies in its potential for creating subtle forms of intertextuality. To this end, I deal with iconographic forms molded by avant-garde cinema, distinguishing between “relative” and “surrealistic” images.
