Resumo: This book overview presents Miriam Debieux Rosa’s book: The psychoanalytic clinic facing the sociopolitical dimension of suffering, published in november 2016, by Escuta/Fapesp. Her book is about author’s reflections, related with her clinical interventions experiences within harshly mistreated populations harassed or neglected by normative social discourse - at what she calls “clinical-political psychoanalytic interventions”. In acknowledging the importance of dialogue between psychoanalysis and public discourse, the psychoanalytic clinical listening device is placed on the agenda. In this sense, one must rede ne the setting of psychoanalytic clinical listening as much as analyst ethical implication.

Trata-se de reflexões da autora a partir de suas experiências de intervenções clínicas com populações hostilizadas pelo discurso social, o que ela chamou de “intervenções psicanalíticas clínico-políticas”.
